People for Water and Climate

- A mission to protect the planet for next generation

The main object is to guide and train the human society to protect Earth’s environment through integrated global water and climate action to mitigate and adapt the impacts due to changing climate.

About Us

People for water and climate is a Non profitable registered trust People for water and climate is an effort by likeminded people. The idea to start something new, something bold came about on noticing the climate change and environmental issues.

  • The lack of appropriate wastewater treatment, the increasing pressures of population growth, and the limited capacities of treatment systems are issues that have to be addressed in parallel to climate change mitigation efforts.
  • Nutrient (especially phosphorus and nitrate) pollution from agricultural activities and domestic waste water is a current problem in water resource PWC can play a crucial role in helping to plug gaps by Research, developing projects, facilitate independent dialogue with civil society to help people live more sustainable.

Climate change is expected to intensify losses, due to rising sea level, increased frequency of floods and droughts, coastal storm surges, as well as risks related to glacial lake bursts. A wide array of adaptation responses to climate change targeted at mitigating flood, drought and coastal zone disaster impacts needs to be carried out. On many occasions these adaptation responses can only limit the extent and mitigate the severity of disaster impacts, but not prevent the event altogether.
